Our founder, Simon King is a creative director, entrepreneur, and brand builder with a career that spans art, technology, and fashion. Early years running his own art business led to a move into digital technology at the very start of the internet era, followed by senior creative agency roles leading teams on international projects. He went on to establish his own fashion brand, building a global manufacturing and sales network with stockists across the US, Europe, and licensed distribution in Japan. After exiting the business, Simon spent five years consulting across brand, design, and innovation before founding The Novel Magazine Company. Today he applies his experience in creative leadership, product development, and storytelling to pioneer the next era of publishing.
